Airstream Trailers

We stayed at The Cozy Peach at Schnepf Farms, and let me tell you it was a dream. It has charm, and comfort, and you connect with nature and LOVE. If you leave the Cozy Peach and not feel the love of Carrie, then you need to stay another day. I could not love and recommend this place more! At the farm, visitors can pick their own fresh organic produce to take home and get a taste of hearty farmhouse kitchen cooking at the Farm Fresh Café and Bakery. Glamping is the best and a new addition to Schepf farms and they know how to do it! The Airstreams are decked out perfectly, and the food is to die for. Do not go on a girl’s trip to Mesa without staying here! I promise, this is the perfect location!

Wake Up and go to Goat Yoga Class with Arizona Goat Yoga

Arizona Goat Yoga connects yogis with their inner farm girl or boy and gives you a laughable yoga session that is sure to make you happy! There is no way you can leave goat yoga and not have a smile on your face. I mean what more can you ask for in a girl’s trip? Happiness and farm animals… well okay so typically they don’t go together, but Arizona Goat Yoga knows how to do it! According to Sarah, a 20-year yogi, Goat Yoga clears the mind and offers a chance to release endorphins from exercise and increase oxytocin with pet therapy. I agree, it really does! Do yourself a favor and go to goat yoga!

Must do… Mesa’s Fresh Foodie Trail

The Farm - an amazing stop on the fresh Foodie Trail

The Farm - an amazing stop on the fresh Foodie Trail

In Mesa,in Mesa, let your inner foodie out and hit some of the best restaurants I have ever been to! They support all of the neighboring farms and provide you a variety of stops you will not forget!

These popular foodie-driven experiences line the Fresh Foodie Trail through Mesa and into the neighboring towns feature more than a dozen stops. Peach orchards, dairy farms, citrus groves, and an olive mill. How can you chose one? An afternoon on the fresh foodie trail is a must do!

Joes Farm Grill

Joe’s Farm Grill is a 60’s era mid-century modern diner, and you have to stop by and grab a burger and shake, you will not regret it!

Queen Creek Olive Mill – Olive Oil Tasting & OliveSpa

East of Mesa is the one of my true loves of Phoenix, Queen Creek Olive Mill. I have been there twice and I can’t wait for the day I return! Its Arizona’s only family-owned and operated working olive mill and farm, where olives are grown and made into high quality extra virgin olive oil. If you are lucky enough to go in good weather, dine in the olive grove, it’s magical I promise! Oh, and take home some of their house made olive oil AND their chapstick! Amazing! www.queencreekolivemill.com

Bucketlist Dining experience Cloth & Flame

If you have been on Instagram, you have probably came across a photo of a Cloth & Flame dinner in the beautiful stunning Sonoran Desert. Eat the most amazing dinner, in the most beautiful setting. I promise you will never forget this night. One of my favorite memories to date! . https://clothandflame.com

Cactus & Flowers: Desert Botanical Garden

FullSizeRender.jpg

You can’t go to phoenix without going to the Desert Botanical Garden. It is the largest botanical garden in the Southwest with 55,000 plants from across the world. My advice is to hit it right before sunset because the view is amazing. Wander the grounds and see how beautiful the desert is. I left with a new love of the desert!

In 2013, Jennifer Russo relocated her catering operation of 20 years, to Gaslight Square on the southwest corner of 36th Street and Indian School Road, into a space that once was a wine storage area for Ernesto’s Backstreet wine bar. In 2014, THE MARKET by Jennifer’s RESTAURANT+BAR was opened. Jennifer developed a space that is both casual and elegant with a menu that incorporates locally sourced and organic ingredients. https://www.marketbyjennifer.com/
