Want to try glamping, but not sure? Go to Firelight Camps located in Ithaca, NY. It’s an amazing stay with all the comforts of a hotel, but the adventure of camping! You will honestly get the best of both worlds!

Just 3.5 hours out of NYC, Firelight Camps is the perfect weekend getaway. Their platform tents are set up for you with the cutest decor, and I’m telling you, this place is Pinterest worthy from the start! You end up getting the camping experience without have to do all of the work!

We stayed in one of their larger tents with two queen beds and an extra cot, and it was plenty of room for my family of 5. Our room was stocked with everything we needed, including battery powered lanterns, that had USB ports for charging electronics. Our favorite part of the tent was the balcony because of the two chairs that overlooked the valley. It made it so easy to sit back and enjoy nature with a good book.

Glamping at Firelight Camps is magical and it filled my momma heart with so much happiness! There were several fire pits located near the check-in tent, and there was plenty of wood to go around. We spent the night sitting by the fire, cooking smores, playing bocce ball, drinking cider, and chatting with all our new friends. Honestly a night to remember!
